Account Information
We collect your name and email address when you sign up. This is used to identify you in groups.

No Payment Data
Settlr does not process or store any payment information. We only track who owes what.

Login is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Your password is never stored by us.

Your data is never shared with third parties without your consent. Only group members can see group expenses.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on Settlr, we collect your name and email address. When you use the app, we store expense records, group memberships, and settlement history.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To display your expenses and balances within your groups
  • To allow group members to identify each other
  • To send notifications about new expenses or settlements (only if you enable them)

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely on Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by industry-standard encryption. Only members of a group can view that group's expenses.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data may only be shared with Firebase/Google as part of the technical infrastructure required to run the app.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app's Settings page. To request data deletion, email us at support@settlr.co.in.
